This "Fat Flush" holds many benefits, especially when beginning a new weight loss plan.

Beginning this plan with this Cranberry Flush will rid your body of toxins which hold onto fat and will also help to decrease your appetite by shrinking your stomach for a day, causing you to eat smaller portions following the flush.  This aids in portion control going forward.   I have found it also gets rid of sugar cravings.  Controlling your sugar intake will greatly assist your weight loss results.  By performing this flush, you are already starting your new plan with a negative calorie balance.  Another great benefit is that it will get rid of excess water weight, causing you to lose up to 3-4 lbs. overnight. 

The citrus and spice mixture in this flush helps control hunger throughout the day.  The natural juices will keep your body hydrated, you will only shed the toxic-laden fluids that become trapped in your cells that originate from sources such as caffeine, food additives and pollutants.  You may have to visit the bathroom more often, but it will be well worth it in the morning!  These trapped toxins hold on to fat and the flush will allow your body to release fat from your cells more easily.

WHY?

Why this flush works - You're loading up on acids that emulsify fat.  Adding acids such as vitamin C boosts your body's ability to emulsify fat.  Dousing your system with juice pulls toxins and unnecessary fluids from your tissues and releases them. 

 
HOW?

High levels of unhealthy fat make it difficult for your liver to break down fat properly.  The lemon, orange and cranberry juice in this brew will decongest your liver so it can emulsify fat at peak efficiency.  One of the best kept secrets of weight loss is keeping the liver healthy.  It is the key organ for fat metabolism. 

The spices play an important role in this flush as well.  Cinnamon is known to increase your metabolism and reduce hunger.  Ginger expands blood vessels, reving the metabolism as well. 

 
DIRECTIONS

 
Consume only the juice, along with unlimited water (can add lemon) from waking in the morning thru bedtime at night.  Resume normal eating the next morning.
 
Everytime you feel the slightest bit hungry, simply sip on more juice, the cinnamon will make you feel satisfied and the cranberry mix is very refreshing, expecially over ice.  It's also good warm, but a little bit tart that way. 
 
RECIPE:
2 Quarts Cranberry Water (3 T. unsweetened cranberry juice concentrate to 56 oz. water)
OR
8 oz. unsweetened cranberry juice to 56 oz. water
3/4 c. fresh squeezed orange juice
1/4 c. fresh squeezed lemon juice
1/2 t. ground cinnamon
1/4 t. ground ginger
1/4 t. ground nutmeg
 
Bring juices to a soft boil.  Whisk in spices and stir well.  Cover and simmer 10-15 minutes.  Let cool, refrigerate.  Serve over ice and sip on all day for a refreshing drink.  Can also drink mixture warm -- tastes like a spiced tea.
